Turkey By Land & Sea



This is a tentative program and will be customized and quoted acording your groups requirements..

Day 1     
Pick up from the airport. Drive along the sea of Marmara. Cross over the Golden Horn and check in to the hotel. (D)
Day 2     
Full day visit of İstanbul.We go to the Hippodrome where the chariot races and all other phisical challangers of Roman Period took place. After the Hippodrome we visit world's famous 'Blue Mosque' to enjoy the beautiuful Ottoman art in this emperial mosque.Next we shall go another master price of the Byzantine period.St. Sophia and take Lunch in a local restaurant, enjoy the local food! After lunch visit the Topkapı Palace representing a history of four hundred years. Return to the Hotel. ( B.L.D. )
Day 3     
Departure from İstanbul. Lunch in Gelibolu (Gallipoli), cross over the Dardanelles by car,  ferry from Europe to Asia to 'The Great Battle fields over a beautiful Lady of antiquity. Over night in Çanakkale. (B,L,D).
Day 4     
Drive to Pergamon. Visit the site. Lunch in local Gurme Restaurant. After lunch, visit the first heeling center ( Hospital complex ) of the world, 'The Asklepion' and overnight at Foca. Ancient name of Foca is Phokai. ( B.L.D.)
Day 5     
Drive to Ephesus. Visit Mary's House, the place where she spent the last days of her life acc. the legend. Visit Ephesus site, the most visited ancient site in the world. Lunch , visit the Local Museum. Drive to İzmir .
Day 6     
Drive to Sardis. The Capital of ancient Lydia,where the first coinage was used in the world. Visit the Large Artemis Temple, Cymnasium, and the oldest synagog in the area. After lunch, drive to Philedelpia , which happens to be one of the 7churches of ' Revelations' visit the ruins of the church of St. John and drive to Pamukkale. Overnight in Pamukkale. ( B.L.D.)
Day 7     
Drive to Bodrum. Embark on the Gulet. which is a pleasure boat special to the area, made of local wood.

Day 8-9-10-11
Enjoy the beautiful environment of the Aegean for the next four nights and five days.
